Prayer Request For Family

Hi, It's so to find somewhere to express my feelings and thoughts. My family is in need of Prayers. The more the merrier. My family is going though a difficult time. It has currently brought to my attention that my husband is a sex addict. He's been unfaithful since 2 weeks in our relationship. We've been together now 10years and married 8. We also have 4 beautiful children who is having a difficult time dealing with their parents splitting. I am a christian and I want guidance from the lord in this situation but I find it very hard. I'm having a very hard time dealing with it cause I don't understand the sex addict issue. My prayer request for guidance from God and for healing for my husband, my children and myself. Please feel free to post a reply as no offense will be taken looking for someone who is experiencing similar issue and how are they dealing with it.

I just wanted to say I'm thinking about you and your family. I know that David Duchovny suffers from sex addiction and it's hurt his family.

Like all addictions, it's up to the person with it to manage it, understand it, and overcome it. I hope your husband gets the help he needs. I would suggest you going to a group that supports people who are affected by sexual addiction.

Take one day at a time, that's usually all God asks of us in challenging times.
