Default Scabies is one of the commonly occurring skin conditions

Scabies is one of the commonly occurring skin conditions, all across the world. It may sometimes take weeks for the condition to be diagnosed and hence can lead to a lot of discomfort to the patient. Persistent scabies may take months, before they are completely eliminated from the body. For all those who are completely new to this skin condition, it is caused by the underlying parasites which are microscopic in nature. In order to deal with the symptoms or treat the condition sooner, people try all kinds of medications, natural and synthetic. However, you must try and stick to one particular form of treatment. From Ketoconazole shampoos, ZNP bars, tea tree oil, salt scrubs, vinegar, baking soda- people have used it all. However in the recent days, one of the most unconventional ways of treating scabies is to make the use of turpentine oil. Turpentine oil could be found in all medical stores and would usually cost less than $5. The oil is extremely strong and therefore it has to be mixed with 1/3 cup of conditioner. The mixture has to be applied on the scalp and left overnight. Some people also mix it with their body lotions and apply it on different parts of their body. The oil is known to kill the underlying mites and also alleviate the itching symptoms of the condition. However, you must not apply the oil directly on your skin since it may lead to burning sensations. Always mix it with some other base and then use it.
