Anyone have anything to share about meeting people in chat rooms online?

Hi bwendo,
I have an experience of online chat rooms and found most of them fake. People lied about thier location, name and even sex so I don't trust them anymore. Never experienced about online dating programs as I heard from every second person that they are scammers.
